By Personal Coaching & Psychotherapy Associates for Women

We are pleased to offer our services both in person in our comfortable offices and on-line . While we prefer face to face encounters, today’s world sometimes dictates otherwise. We give you our professional assurance that, whether you visit us face-to-face or by email or chat, we are committed to abiding by the highest ethical standards dictated by our profession and to providing a truly quality, value-rich service.
Free Initial Appointment
Because we know that personal coaching, counseling or psychotherapy is a serious commitment, we are happy to meet with you at no cost to further explain our approach and to learn about your reasons for coming to us. This enables you to talk with us one-on-one to ask any questions you may have and for you to see if you are comfortable with us.
This initial meeting will allow us to see if we are comfortable enough with each other to go further. It is not personal coaching or therapy and we will not go into significant details about your goals or your issues. However, this is an excellent option for women, searching for a therapist or a coach, to talk and get to know us a little before committing to a paid session. It also works well for women considering personal coaching, counseling or psychotherapy for the first time.
To inquire about coaching or psychotherapy and to schedule a free initial appointment, contact our Intake Office at 678-230-8127 ext 4.
Mindfulness Training and Weekly Dharma Talks
Tuesday Evenings
6:30–7:30 PM

Stillness is the first step to clarity and to connecting with our personal power. This still place is the beginning of real, long lasting change as opposed to “quick fix” hype. Discussion will include the power of stillness from a medical perspective (lowering of blood pressure and alleviation of stress); current research and it's implications relative to the treatment of depression, anxiety, pain management and more. We will explore the works of Jon Kabat-Zinn,Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society (CFM) at the University of Massachusetts; Charles Raison and Tenzin Negi and Susan Bauer-Wu from Emory University as well as many more. The universal practice of meditation has it's sacred place within all the major religions of the world; within Christianity (“Be Still and Know”) as well as in Native American practices and in the ancient Eastern philosophies and Buddhism as brought to the Western mainstream through the works of Deepak Chopra and Thich Nhat Hahn among others. Different meditation practices will be explored and classes will include the use of audio recordings of Buddhist and Native American chants and songs as well as guided imagery and visualization. A list of suggested readings will be available.

Workshops:
Experience a Day of Mindfulness and Pilgrimage.

We invite you to join us for a very special day of mindful meditation, experiential presentations and discussions of our individual understanding of “Pilgrimage” and how it plays out in each of our lives. The day will be devoted to our gaining greater insight into how to be more truly present in our lives and how to travel through our time here on earth with meaning — how to live our lives truly alive.
This life-enriching day will be held at the Evansa€ beautiful 300+ acre secluded farm in White, Georgia. Amidst five miles of winding paths, lakes, horses within pastures, running streams, dappled sunlight, breezes through the trees and unspoiled pastoral beauty, there will be plenty of time to walk the paths, sit by a tumbling stream or on a dock at the lake. It will be a day to relax, unwind and to be uninterrupted by the day-to-day demands of your world. No cell phones, Blackberries, Ipods or laptops allowed!
Limited to 12 women. Lunch, beverages and fruit will be provided. The cost for the day is $150.00. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. A 50% deposit is required to hold your space with balance due upon arrival.
Presenters: Both of the presenters at this event are excited about the potential in store for all of us who will share this special day. They each have a strong personal commitment to and belief in the value and importance of living a life of intention through mindfulness and a sense of pilgrimage. They are each very much looking forward to this experience.
